2 network cards in one computer - how to configure? I want to build a firewall for my home network. It is a mini ITX computer with Intel celeron processor, 8GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

I tried this before, with two nics in one pc with two diff ips, both nics going to seperate networks, then I tried using one switch and it somehow caused a loop.
